We aim to send out all orders within one working day after receiving cleared payment and for orders within the UK to arrive within 3 working days. However, in exceptional circumstances, an order may take up to five working days to arrive.

If you need EXPRESS DELIVERY please e-mail us at: hello@crubag.co.uk. We will always aim to facilitate this.

We offer worldwide shipping and will do our best to deliver your purchases to any place in the world. However, at this moment, and due to logistics, we do not offer shipping to the following countries:

  • BURMA – MM
  • CUBA –
  • IRAN – IR
  • NAURU –
  • NIUE –
  • SUDAN – SD
  • SYRIA –
  • TUVALU –

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS may take up to 7-10 working days or longer to reach their destination. We are not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance processes.

If an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of this. We aim to ship items “IN STOCK” within one working day after receiving cleared payment.

All orders in the UK will be shipped by:

  • Royal Mail 1st class recorded or
  • 24hr special delivery.

International orders will be shipped via:

  • Royal Mail International Signed For delivery,
  • FedEx International Priority or
  • DHL Express.

Both the UK and international deliveries will need to be signed for. Alternatively orders can be collected from a depot. Therefore we advise that it is best to give us an address where someone will be there to sign.

All Crùbag scarves, bow-ties and pocket squares are shipped in our beautiful branded packaging. They qualify for free delivery in the UK and standard delivery charges for Europe and rest of the world. Deliveries are trackable online, provided the carrier allows it. For all other items, delivery charges are specified upon ordering.

Orders from outside the EU: Your local customs may add a sales tax, which we can’t predict or take responsibility for.

If you have a special request, please e-mail us at: hello@crubag.co.uk

Sorry, at the moment we can’t redirect orders after items have been dispatched. If delivery proves impossible or impractical on 2 or more occasions we may need to cancel your order and deduct the original delivery charges from the refund; however, we will try to contact you, in this case, to arrange for a new order to be placed if required.

2) Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are sorry to hear that. Please return the item within 14 days of receipt. You might want to contact us at: hello@crubag.co.uk to discuss your options. We can only accept returns of items bought directly from Crùbag.

The returned item should be unused and unworn and must be returned in its original packaging including any tags and documentation.

If the item is returned due to a product fault or isn’t as specified in the product description we will process a full refund or exchange the item. However please note that there may be small variations in the product, especially in the colour. The colour of the product may also look differently than on your computer screen. These variations do not constitute a fault. Please refer to the next paragraph.

If you would like to return the item for any other reason, we are also happy to provide a refund or exchange it. In the case of a refund, we will deduct the original postage charge. Should you want to exchange it a second time we will need to charge postage. Thereafter we may decide to refuse any further exchanges. Please note that we accept no returns of promotional offers unless they are faulty.

In any case, you are liable to pay the return postage and to ensure that the product reaches our premises at the following address:

Crùbag, Scottish Marine Institute, Oban, Argyll, PA37 1QA.

We recommend that you use a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. Please allow 10 working days for a refund to be processed. Due to the small size of our business this time frame may be exceeded during holiday periods. If you have provided an e-mail address we will contact you to advise you of this.

You are responsible for paying any duties or taxes which may be imposed by your local customs outside the UK and the EU. For returns from outside the EEC, the parcel must have a signed customs declaration attached to the outside of it. The only acceptable declaration is to tick the checkbox ‘OTHER’ and write the description ‘GOODS ORIGINATING IN THE EEC RETURNED FOR CREDIT’ (in the absence of this declaration, we may have to pay import charges, which will be deducted from your refund).

If the item is returned to us because it couldn’t be delivered, we may require you to pay the postage before we send it again. We reserve the right to cancel the order and refund your money less the original postage paid.

The contract between you and Crùbag can also be partly or fully terminated in case of force majeure (such as war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, natural disasters or similar events).

3) Payment

You can pay securely through our payment gateway Stripe as well as via Paypal. We accept most major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard. The payments are processed securely and fast. Crùbag doesn’t get to see your account or card details. We don’t hold, have access to nor store any cardholder information.
